Do you know the four key components to a beautiful Catholic church? Steve Baker PhD(c) is offering free presentations on his research from his Ph.D. Dissertation: How Catholic Sacred Architecture Means. In this wonderful presentation, Steve explains the meaning behind Catholic sacred architecture, the mystery of faith, and the sacred mysteries of the mass. Saint Thomas Aquinas identifies three requirements for beauty: integritas, claritas, and consonantia. Our research shows that Aquinas hints at a fourth pivotal component to his aesthetics system, and it is this fourth component that supplies one with guidance for making meaningful and lasting Catholic churches.
